Event Coordinator and Executive Assistant

The Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia (ISCA) needs more hands-on-deck to keep up with growing engagement relating to sustainability in the infrastructure sector and to meet the needs of its members! We are looking for a full time team member to take on a new role, joining and supporting our growing, dynamic, passionate, energetic and motivated team to provide executive assistance to our CEO as well as coordinate events including ISCA Board meetings, AGM, annual gala dinner, conferences, networking events and other stakeholder engagement. This new role will enable ISCA to continue to focus on delivering member value and support the advancement of sustainability throughout the Australasian infrastructure stakeholder network.

Role and Responsibilities

The Event Coordinator and Executive Assistant position will be responsible for ISCA’s event calendar including annual gala dinner, conferences, networking events and other stakeholder engagement including managing venue arrangements, service providers, booking and registration administration and event reporting. This role will also be responsible for coordinating ISCA Board meetings, managing and maintaining the CEO’s schedule, appointments and travel arrangements, as well as managing general office inbound communication.

Knowledge & Experience

Essential

  • At least three (3) years’ experience working in
    • events and marketing, and/or
    • providing administrative support to senior management
  • Knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures

Desired

  • Suitable qualification in a relevant discipline
  • Experience working in the infrastructure or construction industry
  • Experience working in a not for profit organisation
  • Experience working in a small team

  • Excellent organisational agility, political savvy and comfort around senior management
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office Suite, MS SharePoint and MS CRM
