ISCA Welcomes an Intern from UNSW!

ISCA is pleased to welcome an intern from the Univeristy of NSW, Parisa Pakzad to the team. Parisa is a qualified architect and landscape architect.

Prior to coming to Australia, she studied Architecture at the Isfahan Art University (Iran) and Landscape architecture at the National University in Tehran, and also ran her own firm for some time. Her industry experience spans a variety of national projects and design-oriented research in the fields of building design, green infrastructure and sustainability in Iran.

Parisa is undertaking a PhD doctorate study in relation to sustainable urbanism. Her research involves the development of a comprehensive and integrated assessment model for measuring the sustainability performance of green infrastructure in an Australia context.

Parisa has joined ISCA to support the research and development of various rating tool aspects including how 'green infrastructure' can support more sustainable outcomes through the rating tool. This will result in the provision of best practice green infrastructure advice for assessors, developers, decision-makers and stakeholders.
