This project by Rail Projects Victoria consists of four individual IS Ratings, which will determine an overall rating for this project.

Overview
By taking some of Melbourne’s busiest train lines – Sunbury, Cranbourne and Pakenham – through a new tunnel under the city, the Metro Tunnel will free up space in the City Loop to run more trains to and from the suburbs
That means more trains, more often across Melbourne, with a less crowded and more reliable train network.
The Metro Tunnel Project will support Melbourne’s connectivity and liveability for decades to come. It will deliver twin nine kilometre rail tunnels from Kensington to South Yarra with five new underground stations at Arden (to be renamed North Melbourne), Parkville, State Library, Town Hall and Anzac.
This project has been divided into four packages: Early Works Managing Contractor, Tunnels and Stations Public Private Partnership, Rail Infrastructure Alliance, and Rail Systems Alliance.
