IS v1.2 Design and As Built Webinar

IS rating scheme version 1.2 Design and As Built (ISv1.2D&AB) was launched 4 May 2016 at the Western Australia Infrastructure Sustainability Conference. This update was developed in consultation with stakeholders and with regard to ratings performance to date, past feedback and lessons learnt and current rulings and clarifications.

The purpose of the update was to develop a next version of the IS rating scheme which reduces evidence burden, enhances value and value add, provides greater flexibility and simpler processes and facilitates industry innovation.

This is a 2 hour webinar to understand what is Version 1.2 design and as built and what has changed from version 1.

Course Format

  • Two (2) hour webinar

Course outline

This webinar will give attendees an understanding of the work completed to develop ISv1.2D&AB, a thorough understanding of the weightings assessment process and other changes from Version 1.0 and what is next regarding Operations, Planning, Version 2 etc. Attendees will be able to ask questions throughout the Attendees will be required to undertake a short 15 min quiz on some of the webinar content.

This webinar is compulsory for ISAPs to retain their certification past 31 December 2016. Following attendance at the webinar and successful completion of the online quiz, participants will be provided with an updated ISAP Certification and version 1.2 of the IS Technical Manual.

A maximum of 40 participants will be accepted for each webinar.

This webinar is complementary for any ISAPs who attended the training in 2016. 1 complementary place will also be assigned for each registered rating.

IS v1.2 Design and As Built (D&AB) Infrastructure Sustainability Training for Professionals

Aim

By the end of this course, participants should be able to use the IS rating scheme to achieve an IS certified rating.

Overview

To keep up to date with important infrastructure sustainability trends and traction and understand how to implement an IS rating scheme strategy to ultimately achieve a Certified IS Rating, this training is a must!

Following successful completion of the course (including an online exam), participants will achieve accreditation as an IS Accredited Professional (ISAP) and be recognised and an experience IS rating scheme professional.

Learning Objectives

  • Explain the key concepts and costs and benefits of the IS rating scheme
  • Prepare an IS rating scheme strategy and implementation plan
  • Identify key components of the IS rating process to complete a self-assesment for a registered rating.
  • Define a base case and complete a base case proposal ready for verification
  • Find key information in the IS Technical Manual
  • Interpret IS categories and credits and describe appropriate evidence for the pursuit of a certified IS rating.

All credit card payments will incur an additional 3.5% fee.

Where discounts apply in relation to date of payment, payment must be received by ISCA by the applicable date to be eligible for that rate. Where payment has not been received by the end of discount date, unpaid invoices will be amended and reissued with the applicable fee.

All accounts must be paid in full 21 days from the invoice date or 3 business days before the event start date, whichever comes first. ISCA reserve right, without notification, to cancel outstanding accounts any time after 21 days from date of invoice being sent. If payment is not received prior to the event, access may be granted only after full payment is made via credit card or cash onsite. Late processing fees may be applicable.

Refunds will only be issued for cancellations as follows:

Registration may be transferred if notification is given at least 5 business days before the event. Please note that any difference in fees must be paid if the replacement registrant is not entitled to the same rate. (For example if the replacement registrant is not a member but the original registrant is a member). No refunds will be provided for transfers to a lower fee item.
